So, naturally this would be something that I'd like to do with FreeBSD. After skimming around DejaNews for a bit & a few other places, the solution seems to be: vidcontrol EGA_80x43 However, this gives me the message: Cannot set vidmode: Invalid Argument I *know* I've just missed something incredibly obvious with this one. I can put my screen into a few other modes (mostly illegible) so I think I've got the command right (judging from the man page)... I can put my screen into EGA 43 row mode in DOS so I know its possible - but could a fairly low-end vidcard/monitor cause this problem with FreeBSD? BTW in case its important this is FreeBSD 2.1.5.
