disk. During boot phase it is recognized as sd2 here in my FreeBSD machine.
To format a zip disk scsiformat(8) is for you. Then you may construct
your filesystem on it (newfs /dev/rsd2c) or install a partition table.
Or use tar to use your disk as a tape (tar cpvf /dev/rsd2c files...).
So there is no "special support" necessary for the zip drive. You may
mount disks with a filesystem on it and unmount them.
Ok for the moment I don't have any zip drive at all, I am testing the jaz
drive, but the procedere is the same/should be the same.
