I played with one a couple of days. Worked OK in my limited experience. Swapped it for a 1 Gb disk so I can no longer try it. Maybe mine had different drive firmware? Dunno about the 4200 but the Exabyte 8x00 have quite some different fw versions floating around. Wilko
