The question is who has told you this. :) I'd say, it depends. If you're operating something like wcarchive.cdrom.com, 2.1.6.1 is certainly for you. OTOH, i'm using 2.2 systems even in business environments for almost a year now. Of course, there have been minor oddities (the worst being one machine with a broken shell), but nothing totally fatal that i could attribute to the development-branch versions.
