(easily) I tried the Why not just try: pkg_add ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/packages-current/All/lyx-0.10.7.tgz This is a -current package, and you may not be able to run it on your 2.1.5 system anyway, but that's at least how you'd go about installing it over FTP with the pkg_add(1) tool. -- - Jordan Hubbard President, FreeBSD Project
