The block size is : mostly meaningless as far as SCSI performance goes. I : wouldn't touch it. Both of my Plextors (PX-63CS and PX-83CS) have a jumper for block mode. The manual states that it's for booting Unix from CD-ROM. It doesn't mention anything more than that. Is this for workstations or for Intel PC based Unixes as well?
