Yes.

If they are of same type they will be discovered in
MAC-address order (ef0 ef1 etc)

Also, make shure that the boards you install are 
defined in the kernel as potential devices;

Look in the config file that they are defined (i think
only one 3com509 isa is defined as default, but i
may be wrong here)

But for *real* routing i prefer a cisco. Anyday!
