It won't work because sysinstall uses cpio to get files. And cpio in its remote form uses anonymous ftp to get files. And your proxy wants to talk http. So you will have to do something different. a) do you have some space on your harddisk? or: b) do you have a machine in your net with some space on its harddisk and an ftp daemon or a configured inetd running? If the answer is yes, use your netscape to get the binary and manual and X packages from your favorite X server and install from the DOS partition or your 2nd machine in your net... I don't see another solution :-( It is described in the handbook how to do it.
