I use a 'chat' command (I think it was pinched from some ppp package)
to connect to my Slip supplier, and expect (calling tip) to hang up.

As far as I know I'm the only person using this service (demon) with 386bsd.

If you want the chat prog or the scripts I use, drop me a line and I'll
put them up for ftp on rachel.ibmpcug.co.uk.

PS Mailing list: I'd say just keep it here; traffic wouldn't be that
