I'm helping someone with BSD 2.0 on a Pentium, with an older Digi
PC/Xe (8 bit, 8 port) board. I've set up the computer (+ 28.8 modems)
for dialin, and I'm able to connect to shell from a remote computer at
9600 baud, but not at any higher modem speeds (i.e., 19.2, 28.8, 33.6)
When dialing to the host machine, the modems begin to speak to each
other (at those higher speeds), but suddenly disconnect for no reason.

Has anyone out there encountered this situation, and what can I do to
fix it?

(I believe I've set /etc/gettytab and /etc/ttys correctly, and I've
installed the ttys patch and the digi.o patch for BSDI 2.0)

gettytab:

2|std.9600|9600-baud:\
        :np:hf:sp#9600:
g|std.19200|19200-baud:\
        :np:hf:sp#19200:
h|std.38400|38400-baud:\
        :np:hf:sp#38400:

ttys:

ttyA00 "/usr/libexec/getty std.38400" dialup on # Digiboard P1

Any help is greatly appreciated -- thank you :-)
