It shouldn't matter that the file's so big - don't forget the REGET
ftp command.

I've noticed some bad connections to German sites too - I traceroute'd
to said sites and then ping'd each hop.  One particular machine was
loosing about 1/2 of the packets sent to it (sorry, can't remember the
name now) - despite other machines in that domain being fine.  I tried
to send a message to postmaster at that machine, but it eventually
"failed to deliver" :(

I still get problems with a lot of .de machines.
