The ``AIC'' is unimportant, only the BIOS is (and only if not using
``dangerously dedicated'' mode).  I'm positive for the 1522 vs. 2940,
since they both are ``true Adaptec''.  I would be negative for any
true Adaptec vs. any the-company-that-was-previously-known-as-Future-
Domain controller (like the 2920).
