When booting the Adaptec install floppy for NetBSD v1.2, I get the
following inf. on the screen.

<normal first line>
"use fd(1,a)/netbsd when sd0 and wd0 are installed"
"Boot:" <stuff> ":-"
"Error: C:0 S:0 H:18"

With the last line repeating. Anyone know what, or has seen, this problem?

My system has three HD controls two IDE and one SCSI (Adaptec LOCAL BUS,
2847 or something like that). One IDE is on a multifunction Local Bus
card, the other is the CD-ROM controller on a Soundblaster card. The IDEs
are disabled and have nothing on them. I've even pulled the cards just to
make sure weren't getting in the way. The MB does not have an IDE drive
control on it.

It sounds to me like it thinks it has found two different boot devices sd0
& wd0. When there isnąt a wd0 and is trying to boot from wd0. But not
having the code for the boot disk I donąt know what is really happening.

A solution would be great as Iąd rather run NetBSD then Linux.

Thanks much for the help, -Cris
