Check the FreeBSD webpage (http://www.freebsd.org) for personal sites
in the FreeBSD Gallery.  Nick Sayer wrote a good submission on his
experiences with FreeBSD on a notebook.  You need to make sure that
the notebooks PCMCIA bus is compatable with the Intel PCMCIA chipset.
Also check the FreeBSD mobile computing site.  There's a link to it
from Nick Sayer's webpage on FreeBSD and notebooks.
