Hi,

I finally got PPP dial-on-demand working. Is there a way
to close the PPP link without using the ON-OFF switch on
the modem ?

By the way, thanks to many people who posted in this newsgroup
providing hints in setting up PPP connection. It is very stable
and I don't need to use pppd which requires a kernel recompile.

Many thanks to you all. Freebsd is an excellent alternative to
Linux. I actually like them both.
