Well, than you perhaps best reinstall one from scratch.

I would recommend you trying 2.2-BETA.  Since the disks are now
mounted with async (metadata) updates during installation, installing
the bindist from CD-ROM takes now less than 5 minutes on a fast
machine. :-)
