  That I would believe.  But, alas, that would reave all operating
  systems equally (If one of the 'BSDs has got a freely distributable
  boot loader for the Alpha, I would cheerfully leap at it and rewrite
  it so that I could get rid of MILO on the spot) until someone
  reverse-engineers the thing.
