I too have seen strange problems with arcs under the Tk toolkit & 386BSD
0.1 XS3-0.3-exp.

If the width of the arc exceeds 180 degrees, the server will flip around
and draw the shorter path instead.  For example, if I draw an arc from
0 to 180 degrees, it's fine, but if I draw from 0 to 270, it will draw
from 270 to 0 instead.
