I figured out ppp, emacs19.31, and some other minor glitches. Now I'm stuck on this: I have a three-buttom serial mouse plugged into COM1 (/dev/cuaa0). Is there anyway to get X to recognize this button? If not, how do I fake a middle-mouse button press? Second question: Is there a packages like "xplaces" for freebsd? (or does anyone have some good X dotfiles for a FreeBSD-newbie ;) thanks, david David A. Bader, Ph.D. Office: 301-405-6755 Institute for Advanced Computer Studies FAX: 301-314-9658 A.V.
