Folks,

Right now I'm running 2.1.6.-STABLE and I've been having random panics that
are a real pain. Obviously something is a little flakey between my hardware
and 2.1.6.1. On 2.1-STABLE my system ran non-stop so it was my unfortunate
decision to "upgrade" (tm) that's my real problem.

I've narrowed down the problem to either quotas, ipfw, or ccd. The panics
seem to occur right after an innxmit completes. Since the news spool is on a
ccd drive and the panic seems to involve a sync I suspect ccd. Has there been
any changes to ccd in the past few months that I should know about? Ipfw and
quotas are new features I've just added so I suspect them as well.

So, since -stable is no longer stable for me, can cvsup get me to 2.2.x or is
it better to install from disks? I've not had any problems with cvsup, I just
need to determine if it's a sensible way to move forward.

Thanks,

Craig
