It got accidentally linked in (since XEmacs happily links against Motif if it has found it on the machine building it -- and thud.freebsd.org has Motif, so packages requiring Motif could be built there). I'm not sure, but i think Satoshi was about correcting the package on the FTP server. The only other alternative is to recompile XEmacs yourself.
