Recently I got an Iomega Zip drive and am trying to put MacBSD on it with
little luck and I would like to know if anyone else has done this or if
anyone might know what the problem I'm having means.

I have partitioned the disk with the root partition taking up 113966
sectors. When I run MKFS most of the information in the window is blank
and doensn't make much sense. I have both left it alone and changed it on
different attempts and have gotten the same results. What normally comes
up is the following:

Sector Size: 0
Block Size:
Bytes/Sector:
Sectors/Track: 40
Tracks/Cylinder: 0
Num Cylinders: 0
Bytes/Inode:
Cylinders/Group:
Spare Sectors/Track:
File System Size: 113966
Optimize Space/Time: Space

I have changed the Sector Size and Block Sizes to 512 and the Bytes/Sector
to 256 on guesses, but have no clue what the others might be changed to.

The reason I feel this might be important is that when I run the install
program I get multiple serious errors. In the install window the following
errors come up:
failed mountfs(), error 22.
Error mounting root
mount root. : Unidentifiable error: 0

My Mac itself (a docked Powerbook 230 w/FPU and 24 meg of RAM) at this
point puts up its own error message, a bus error, and forces a restart of
the machine.

If anyone knows the cause of this problem, and how/if it can be fixed, I
would really appreciate it. Thank you.

Mark Swenson.
