I am still not sure how I finally got it up and running! I had the opposite problem with FreeBSD versus Red Hat. Though either was a good deal easier than Windows NT... it eventually turned out that there was a bug in the shipped install floppy, and the patched one worked quite well. Until I found that out I was sitting there staring at this prompt where it was asking me to enter LILO commands to get it to find my SCSI card with zero explanation as to what LILO was and what commands it accepted. My recommendation, if I were to have been asked at that point (before I found out what the problem was) would have been not to try installing Linux without a good Linux expert at hand. Anecdotal evidence should be taken with a grain of salt. -- The Reverend Peter da Silva, ULC, COQO, BOFH. Har du kramat din varg, idag? `-_-'
