I'm afraid pthreads on FreeBSD don't work *too* well, but we have some support that might be good enough for a large part of people's needs. Christopher Provenzano's pthreads package is part of 2.2-derivates and of -current. It is possible to use the library you need from the newer derivates on 2.1.5, it is in src/lib/libc_r/ Are you capable of fetching the source from ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/FreeBSD-current and compile it yourself? If not, I might consider putting the needed bits up for ftp, but I'm very busy right now.
