I guess we spell `clueless' rather differently. > I have an experience with all those systems, you idiot. Watching my 486/100 blow my Sparcstation IPX out of the water makes me an `idiot.' Sorry for being an `idiot' and dealing with the real world instead of your fantasies. > I will make sure to call on you next time I need free advice on what I > should do. Intil then, you can kindly keep your advice to yourself. In other words, `I've never actually tested this stuff, and I have no intention to. I'm just going to keep insulting someone who has done these tests by calling him a clueless idiot until the rest of the world realises how smart I am.' Ok. You win. Never mind lmbench, bonnie and daily use. You're right, the IPX is faster than a 486/100, rather than a bit slower than a 486/66. It must be that my clocks and benchmarks run differently between home and the office. cjs -- Curt Sampson cjs@portal.ca Info at http://www.portal.ca/ Internet Portal Services, Inc.
