FreeBSD can't detect. When I try to install FreeBSD my IDE-contr. won't get detected. My configuration is: ASUS P/I-XP6NP5 Adaptec 2940UW 2GB Wide SCSI HD 1GB SCSI-2 HD ATAPI 10xSpeed sitting on the primary IDE as master. 64MB FreeBSD 2.1.5-RELEASE Can anybody help? Has anybody used an XP6NP5-board with FreeBSD? PS: It is my IDE-contr. that won't get detected, _not_ the CD-ROM ( of course it is also not detected since it uses the IDE-contr.). Thanks in advance. -- Haktan Bulut phantom@diku.dk
