I'm trying to install FreeBSD on my laptop through my ppp conection, but
FreeBSD is not finding my PCMCIA modem (PPI 33.6 ProClass). My 3com
PCMCIA Ethernet card is found, but the network is not up yet and I can'y
use it. Is there anything I need to do to get the modem to work? I
seems crazy that the Ethernet card works but the modem doesn't.

BTW I using a Dell Latitude and the modem is on com2 (sio1).
