You could get informations about this topic from the FreeBSD Handbook, which is online available on: http://www.freebsd.org/ The easiest way for you is perhaps to update the sources using sup. If you plan to update your sources on a regular basis, then you should consider getting compressed source "deltas" via ctm. If you have about 280 MB free space then you could give cvsup a try, which will mirror the whole CVS tree in a very inexpensive manner. This is the most flexible version, since you can checkout every FreeBSD version you like. Additionally you can browse the developers commit logs... -- andreas@klemm.gtn.com /\/\___ Wiechers & Partner Datentechnik GmbH Andreas Klemm ___/\/\/ Support Unix -- andreas.klemm@wup.de pgp p-key http://www-swiss.ai.mit.edu/~bal/pks-toplev.html >>> powered by <<< ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/system/Printing/aps-491.tgz >>> FreeBSD <<<
