On Irix (5.3, at least) this is possible by including `|/full/path/to/the/program' as the second column of /etc/syslog.cong Is it possible to (without named pipe -- I do not want the filter to seat there forewer waiting) do on FreeBSD, and if not, is not this a usefull feature? -mi -- "Windows for dummies"
