What's the point in having to work out how many cylinders 32 MB are on that harddisk if I've got a computer (coming from "to compute", doesn't it?) sitting in front of me that has all the info (because I just gave it to him) to do the calculation for me? > Net install in a fraction of the time it takes to install Linux or Free. If you don't > know what you're doing, run Free, get a clue, then run Net. Shiver, I always thought UNIX people weren't that ignorant about minorities. I can understand if Joe Dumbuser who only knows Windows (because he was never informed that anything else than Windows exists) writes messages like "Where do I get xyz for my computer?" but you should know that there are other things than Intel boxes. I have a rather exotic machine (Acorn RiscPC running NetBSD/arm32) because that's my machine of choice, can you tell me how to run FreeBSD on that? I think that's what many people fail to acknowledge: That NetBSD is the only free Unix a lot of people can run on their computer. That's enough of a reason for me to try to make NetBSD more user friendly. Cheerio, Markus
