The reason is the following. Since a few weeks I am responsible for hard- and software for a small transporting firm. Our main system is WANG VS using the VS operating system release 7. I come from a different background. I am used to U*ix related-tools under DOS and OS/2 (sed, awk, LaTeX, fweb, GNU utilities, etc). My question is : does anyone know of ports of these programs and utilities to WANG VS system ? I've read in the handbooks that there are 'non-WANG VS systems which run under BSD'. Does anyone have any information on these ? For replies, please use my email address : defurnj@glo.be Thanks. Jurgen Defurne Flanders - Belgium
