It seems to work quite well, although the speed of the server is OK, but not great (yet). Checkout the URL http://www.bf.rmit.edu.au/~ajv/xf86-matrox.html for status on the Matrox Xserver. It sounds like the 3.2A release (in Feb.) will be a big improvement in preformance.
