Have I put them in a reasonable Dos : directories? Yes, but did you ftp them in binary mode? If you ftped them in ASCII mode, that could cause the premature EOF. A surefire way to tell is to examine the size of the bin.* files. If they are the same identical length then you probably did ftp them in binary mode.
