There is, in FreeBSD 2.2.

See worm(4), wormcontrol(8), and /usr/share/examples/worm/.

Audio writing is supported, while audio reading requires a decent
drive and external software. It's unfortunately not standardized by
the SCSI-2 specs.

``Disc at once'' audio writing is something nobody has been done yet.

You gotta write the bootstrap for this. This requires to go into the
details of the `El Torito' bootable CD-ROM specs. Be warned that they
contain much crap that is required to convince some 15-year old
program loader of being booted off a CD-ROM. Watch out for what they
call ``Non-emulation booting''. Stay away from their cook-recipe on
how to convert an existing bootstrap into a bootable CD. This is
something i would classify as humbug, and technically inferior enough
to vote against having it in the FreeBSD tree.q

OTOH, starting with FreeBSD 2.2, you'll be able to use a filesystem
CD-ROM as a fixit medium from inside sysinstall. So all you gotta do
is booting your installation floppy, and select `F)ixit'. This avoids
the need of a bootable CD.

(Posted and mailed, though you should note that i would have answered
it a couple of days before if you hadn't stated this request. Right
now, i've batched this answer along with other outgoing mails, in
order to avoid paying extra for just your mail.)
