The cause is that FreeBSD has no small difficulty with DOS partitions beyond a certain size (not sure what size exactly; perhaps someone else can offer that information). The solution is to create a smaller DOS partition, copy the distribution files to it, and all will be well. -- Conrad Sabatier http://www.neosoft.com/~conrads
