I would like to install NetBSD 1.2 i386 on two machines. One of the
machines has an Adaptec 2842 SCSI, the other has an Adaptec 2940.
After reading the installation notes for the i386 port, I get the
impression that the "ahc" driver in NetBSD works with the 2940,
but not the 2842. Is this correct?

What is the current status of these drivers in NetBSD 1.2 and
NetBSD-current?

Thanks in advance
