does anyone know the dump parameter of 4mm DAT?

I'm having problem in remote backup. please let me
know ...

one thing more, how exactly a raw data stored in tape
device? Once I backed up 4mm DAT on Sun, and tried
to restore (actually tar x) on HPUX 9.X, and had
a kernel crash :P although I was running user process
(not root).
