Just compiled up ncurses on NetBSD mac68k.

Works fine except that it seems to be trying to colour
it's windows in using numbers and letters.

It also bounds them with letters.

Works okay if I use an xterm set to vt100 (not xterm)
but not at all elsewhere.

any ideas on how I can get it working outside of X11?
