I don't know if there exists a mirror of the FBSD distribution on a 
site that supports anonymous Kermit users, but C-Kermit 6.x and 
MS-DOS Kermit 3.14 and up support REGET of binary files (which takes 
up where your previous transfer puked, mid-file), which could be 
useful if you find such a site.  (Kermit isn't slow, either, despite 
popular myth/FUD from zmodem proponents.  You do have to configure it 
for speed, though--RTFM.)
