This is stupid. If I wrote gcc, the modified gcc distributed by the
manufacturer incorporates MY work. I have the right to say that the
that the company that modifies MY gcc will ONLY be allowed to use MY
gcc as a free basis for their modification on the condition that they
supply redistributable source code. This seems eminently sensible to
me, in what more precise way does this fall apart under Estonian law?
"licensing" just means that there are "conditions of use," that is,
this is considered to be a contractual transaction (which can protect
my rights in more detail than a simple "sale")
