If I do a tar -cf - foo | rsh 386bsd '(cd foodir;tar -xvf -)' everything works fine. The system has three partitions a which is 26400 512 blocks, g which is 607180 block and swap of 33000 blocks. The hangs did seem to start happen after I repartitioned. Any ideas? -darryl darryl@sai.com
