Now, kindly point out to me where I accused him of being unwilling to learn about Linux. He asked for a piece of software, I listed several options for Linux. Given that that word processors are more widely available and cheaper on other operating systems, wouldn't it make sense to use those operating systems if all he's going to do is word processing? -- Don't send me junk email.
