Wordperfect for linux (full version, Includes Motif): $250
ApplixWare for Linux (full office suite): $199
ApplixWare for Linux (student price): $70
StarOffice for Linux: free (you may want Motif, the runtime is $79)
It looks pretty competitive for me.
