FYI, there do not appear to be any BBS versions that have been compiled (and tgzed) specifically for FreeBSD; however, there are many Unix BBSes. And -- no value judgment implied other than purely personal opinion -- most of them suck, too. Some of them are available as source code, and a selection is included on the Linux CD. Waffle, Citadel, Yabbs, Ebbs, and various ripped-off packages that combine elements of one or more and are sold by packaging specialists for $200+. Slim pickings. Good luck. mc p.s. There's a lot of C code around for message systems and BBS-like interfaces. And I am not disappointed in the FBSD crew for not supplying me with a state-of-the-art BBS, either. ;-) John Woodstock (woody@woodyware.com) wrote: : I followed this lead to Waffle..
