Try Wordperfect. Or any SCO UNIX word processor or Desktop Publishing
suite, running on Linux/iBCS2.

There even used to be a MS Word SCO Unix version; we evaluated it and
chose WP instead.

Caldera offers Wordperfect ported to native Linux. And there are other
things in the realm of editors, like Crisp....

We are running character versions of Lotus 123 and Wordperfect on
terminals off Linux boxen... users find it handy and cheap.
