There's just been a spurt of posts about this after
I asked a similar question on this newsgroup and the dcom.isdn
group.  The two basic responses were (1) get a router because
(a) you'll be able to use the maximum 128k and (b) it's just
better..., (2) just about any TA is Hayes compatible, so the TA
will look and act like a fast modem; bsd ppp software will
work.
