The card is a CardWare Labs Inc (http://www.cwli.com) cwl9510. It is apparently based on the RealTek 8029 chip (8029 6803251 6340). During FreeBSD 2.1.6 system boot, the card is detected on the PCI bus and recognized as type network and name 8029. None of the Network devices, ed0,... is detected. Since the card is NE2000 compatible, I would expect that a PCI form of the ed driver would work. BTW The card works fine in Windows 95. I have seen no definitive postings in the FreeBSD groups about PCI NE2000 ethernet cards in the different versions of FreeBSD, though I am currently only concerned with 2.1.6. Please reply to comp.unix.bsd.freebsd.misc group or via email to docgreg@user1.channel1.com Your assistance is appreciated. Thank you, Greg O'Connor
