(68020 I believe) Is running NetBSD on this thing a viable option? I know it's been ported to the 68k architecture... but will it run on a 32 processor machine? I could be wrong -- it's happened before ;> -- but I'm pretty certain that NetBSD requires a 68030. The only free *n*x I know of for 680x0, x<3 is MiNT (originally developed for Atari, also exists for Mac). As for the multiprocessing bit, Perihelion have a product called PARDI which may be relevant: however I think they want money for it. :( Take a look at <URL:http://www.perihelion.co.uk/>. -- ________________________________________________________________________ Chris Gray Chris_Gray@bcs.org.uk Compuserve: 100065,2102 http://columbia.digiweb.com/kiffer/chris_gray/ ________________________________________________________________________ Ardua molimur: sed nulla nisi ardua virtus
