I'd like someone to tell me if I can run NetBSD on the following configuration: - 486DX2 VLB/66 Mhz w/32M RAM; (Gateway 2k) - ATI Mach32 w/2M RAM - 2.5 GIG WDC Caviar EIDE (hope it's enough space to install NetBSD :) - NEC 8x EIDE CDROM (daisy chained off the same IDE cord with the HD) - SoundBlaster 16ASP This is what I thought is crucial to be supported by NetBSD so if anyone's more familiar than me with hardware support under NetBSD ver. (latest formal release) :), please let me know, I'd appreciate it very much. Will it install off a MSDOS partition? Floppy disks? Is there anyone that sells the latest formal release on a CDROM? And lastly, does NetBSD support PPP's PAP authentiication? Thank you. (I run BSDI 2.1(it's pretty damn fast too for a 486 :), and that doesnt seem to support it) Thank you so much, Martin
