It's not completely unix-specific, but _Firewalls and Internet Security: Repelling the Wily Hacker_ by Cheswick and Bellovin is pretty much The Bible on firewalling technology (IMO). It's published by Addison-Wesley and its ISBN # is 0-201-63357-4. O'Reilly & Associates's _Building Internet Firewalls_ is also *very good* (again, IMO). Besides the general information, the book serves as kind of a tutorial/configuration-guide for the TIS FWTK. The authors are Chapman and Zwicky. It's published by O'Reilly and associates, and its ISBN # is 1-56592-124-0. kevin
